Arends and Stevens advance to second round in Rennes

Sander Arends and Bart Stevens have reached the second round of the ATP Challenger 100 tournament in Rennes, France. The top-seeded Dutch duo convincingly defeated French players Matteo Martineau and Sascha Gueymard Wayenburg 6-4, 6-3 in the first round. Arends is playing with Stevens as a temporary partnership this week. Arends' regular partner, David Pel, has been selected for the Davis Cup team alongside Tallon Griekspoor, Botic van de Zandschulp, and Jesper de Jong.
