Association of Cardiac Patients Concerned About Corruption Investigation of Cardiologists

The association of cardiac patients is concerned about the FIOD's corruption investigation into cardiologists. According to the association, the case can damage patients' trust in their doctor. The FIOD is investigating at least six cardiologists: two from the OLVG hospital in Amsterdam and four cardiologists who until recently worked at the CWZ hospital in Nijmegen. The investigation service is investigating whether the cardiologists have received money from producers of cardiological products.
