Sluggish or logical? Varying reactions to the return of the Netherlands to the Eurovision Song Contest

The news that the Netherlands is returning to the Eurovision Song Contest after a year's absence has caused mixed reactions. An independent team of experts must take care of the selection of the submission on behalf of the NPO. The NOS is responsible for the reporting, the previews and the comments. Broadcaster AVROTROS has been determining the Dutch entry since 2010, but withdrew for the past and upcoming edition because of Israel's participation.
