Municipality of Leeuwarden increases housing costs: average household pays 141 euros more

Municipal housing costs in Leeuwarden will increase significantly in 2027. According to the draft budget, an average household will pay 996 euros to OZB, sewage levy and waste levy next year. In 2026, that was 855 euros. The total budget of the municipality of Leeuwarden is 847 million euros.
