Father and daughter gild clock hands and numbers of the Oldehove

The restoration of the Oldehove clock faces is nearly complete. Clockmaker Klaes Posthuma and his daughter gilded the hands and numbers at his workshop in Akkrum. They used a special, slow-drying lacquer for the gilding process.
