1946 Apeldoorn plane crash commemorated again after ten years: 'Acknowledging grief'

A plane crash from eighty years ago has been commemorated in Apeldoorn for the first time in ten years. The accident claimed the lives of 22 school children and the pilot. At today's commemoration, speeches were held and children laid wreaths at a monument. On October 7, 1946, a novice pilot flew over Apeldoorn in a military aircraft.
