Leeuwarden resident researches vulnerability in healthcare after losing his son

Following the death of his young son Lev from a brain tumor, Melle Foijer from Leeuwarden launched a research project. He is studying the vulnerability of both parents and healthcare professionals when a child is terminally ill. His personal experiences with healthcare during his child's illness inspired this initiative.
