Fifth person with West Nile virus died, number of infections incurred

Once again, a patient who was infected with West Nile virus has died. This is reported by the National Institute for Public Health and the Environment ( RIVM ). Whether the virus is the cause of death, or, for example, a fragile health, is not clear. This year, five people infected with the West Nile virus have died.
