In Leeuwarden, too, health problems are more common among children from families with little money

Children from families with too little money are more likely to stay sick at home from school, have sleep problems more often and go to the dentist or a sports club less often. This is evident from the latest Child Monitor of GGD Fryslân. GGD Fryslân also sees about the same picture in the municipality of Leeuwarden. For the Child Monitor, more than ten thousand parents from Friesland completed a questionnaire about their child from zero to twelve years of age.
