Couple of thousand protesters at 'Stop the war fever' protest

Several thousand people attended the National Peace Protest in Amsterdam this afternoon, which was organised by the New Peace Movement, FNV Young & United and the National Student Union (LSVb). Extinction Rebellion and the youth organisations of Pro, the SP and the Party for the Animals had also joined the protest. Under the slogan "Stop the War Fever", those present demonstrated against what they call "the current course of militarisation" of the Netherlands.
