Judges want to see amendments to surrogacy law, in parallel with adoption scandal
Judges believe that the surrogacy bill should be amended. The law is a step forward, but it does not prevent some major problems, says family judge Annette Olland of the District Court of The Hague to Nieuwsuur . She speaks on behalf of judges in the Netherlands. Every year, thirty to fifty Dutch families have a child with the help of a surrogate mother, but there is no legal regulation for surrogacy.
