Woman in burkini wrongly sent out of sauna Hierden

A sauna and wellness company in Hierden, near Harderwijk, wrongly sent away a woman who was wearing a burkini. Supervisor of the College for Human Rights judges that there was discrimination on the basis of religion and gender. The woman visited the Zwaluwhoeve in June last year. It was a swimwear day that day, a day when house rules allow the wearing of a swimsuit or swimming trunks.
