VIDEO: Historic Leeuwarden in 3D: special farewell gift for Buma

Former mayor Sybrand Buma received the title of honorary citizen of the municipality of Leeuwarden last Friday during his farewell. As a farewell gift, he also received a special model of historic Leeuwarden. The model is made on the basis of a city map from the period 1644-1649, which was drawn by Joan Blaeu. The buildings on the map are recreated in 3D.
