RIVM: many people with too much phas in their blood, but also cautiously positive news

Almost every Dutch person had pfas in their blood by 2025, says the National Institute for Public Health and the Environment (RIVM). Also, almost three quarters of the Dutch had too much of it in their blood. They exceed the so-called health limit, according to a study that RIVM did with blood samples from 2025 from donors of the Sanquin blood bank. At the same time, there seems to be a slight improvement in blood levels compared to a previous investigation.
