One-way traffic on IJssel from tomorrow due to persistent low water

Ships on the IJssel will no longer be allowed to sail from Arnhem to Zutphen from tomorrow. The sailing restrictions have to do with the persistently low water level in rivers. Rijkswaterstaat (RWS) reports this to the ANP news agency. In various places, the fairway is too shallow to guarantee safe traffic in two directions.
